This volume, based on a 17th-century manuscript, gives an idea of ​​the method of home medicine. In these centuries, the scene of illness and patient care was the family. The few hospitals that existed fulfilled the functions of a poorhouse and an epidemic hospital, so all medical books, whether printed or handwritten, were intended for home medicine and contained recipes that could be prepared at home. The text of this volume has been transcribed faithfully, so as far as possible it reproduces the original pronunciation according to the rules of today's spelling.
